Expiration date for Windows 7  RC
Now that the final release is scheduled for Oct. 22, 2009, does that mean that the expiration date for the RC will be moved up to that date or will it stay at June, 2010? ...This RC is superb in x86 and x64and I would like to keep it as long as possible. Anybody have the inside scoop? Thanks.

Hello Pat,There hasn't been any official talk of shortening the expiration of Windows 7 RC and it would be highly unlikely for Microsoft to do as such. The official end of Windows 7 RC is scheduled for June 1, 2010 but will begin rebooting every 2 hours starting on March 1, 2010. This seems like a good amount of time for people to try it out and familiarize themselves with Windows 7 before buying the final product.

Thanks. March is ok for me to buy...don't want the reboots. To Microsoft: You really outdid yourself on this beauty. Compliments to the team.
